Aitken Turnbull announces raft of senior promotions

ARCHITECTURAL practice Aitken Turnbull has made a series of senior promotions across its Edinburgh and Galashiels studios.

The firm has promoted Callum Ford, Fraser Hunter, Gavin Fallen and Sebastian Mercier to associates. Callum also now has additional responsibility as a technical lead, while Fraser and Gavin become studio leads.

Callum Ford has been part of the technical team for over 20 years, working his way up to senior architectural technician. In his new role, he will drive technical quality and delivery across the board.

Fraser Hunter joined the business five years ago in the Galashiels studio, helping to deliver key projects across varying sectors. As associate and studio lead, he will oversee the Galashiels studio, helping guide team development and studio growth.

Gavin Fallen joined the firm’s Edinburgh team as senior architectural designer two years ago. In his new position as associate and studio lead, he will take on wider leadership of the Edinburgh team, helping to strengthen the studio’s operations and team culture.

Sebastian Mercier joined Aitken Turnbull six years ago and is said to have shown ‘continually strong project management and leadership skills’. As associate, he will help shape project delivery and contribute to the practice’s future direction.
