
OCEAN Kinetics has appointed chartered civil engineer Shane Jamieson as the company’s new commercial manager.
The move is designed to help drive growth in the marine and harbour engineering sector.
Shane’s career in civil engineering consultancy spans more than 13 years. Known for his expertise in marine civils design, project management, and commercial leadership, Ocean Kinetics revealed he has helped shape some of the Northern Isles’ most significant infrastructure projects including Mair’s Pier and Dales Voe South in Lerwick as well as the proposed Scapa Deep Water Quay and Hatston Harbour expansions in Orkney.
In his new role, Shane will lead the development and execution of major contracts, oversee governance, and support the delivery of larger, more complex projects across all departments.
