GLASGOW-based fit-out and refurbishment contractor Bellendaine recently marked its first anniversary with a celebration that brought together over 100 industry professionals, including clients, consultants and supply chain partners at its base in Baltic Chambers.
Over the past 12 months, the firm has carried out projects ranging from fast-track office refurbishments to works within large scale retail parks and public sector environments.
Founded by construction professionals Michael Harrison and Gary Scott, Bellendaine was built on decades of experience and a mission to do things differently.
“We knew from the beginning that we weren’t just launching another fit-out company,” explained Michael. “We set out to create something more human; something that puts people, communication and reliability at the centre of every project.”
In year one, Bellendaine secured over £1 million of projects. The company added that its signature five-phase model – designed to bring structure, transparency and calm to what can often be a stressful process – has helped differentiate the business in a crowded market.
The anniversary event provided an opportunity to thank those who have played a key role in Bellendaine’s success.
“Our first year would not have been possible without the support of our clients, our consultant teams and the skill and professionalism of our supply chain,” Gary said. “The event was about recognising the people behind the projects.”
As the business moves into its second year, momentum is building. Bellendaine said it has secured a strong pipeline of new projects, many of them with repeat clients. There are also plans to grow the team and office locations into 2026.
“Our focus for the year ahead is simple,” added Michael. “Continue doing great work, for great clients, with great people. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved in year one and look forward to seeing what year two brings.”
