EIGHT Toolstation colleagues walked 26 miles across the Dorset coastline to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The team has so far raised £5,025 for the cancer support charity, with donations still possible by clicking here.
Toolstation’s senior retail marketing and events manager, Scott Beighton, who took part in this year’s Mighty Hike, said, “This was a great personal challenge for us all and trekking through the Jurassic Coast has meant we’ve been able to raise more money for such an important cause. We want to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and is helping us achieve this target.”
Rebecca Fanning, corporate partnership manager at Macmillan Cancer Support, added, “On behalf of everyone at Macmillan, I want to say a huge thank you to the Toolstation Trekkers for taking on the epic Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike. We are so grateful for the continued support of Toolstation’s colleagues and customers over the course of five fantastic years of partnership. Without the unwavering generosity of our incredible partners, we couldn’t continue to do whatever it takes for people living with cancer, whoever and wherever they are.”
2025 marks the fifth year of support for Macmillan by Toolstation. The retailer has raised a total of £3 million for the charity.
