MILL Architects director Richard Webb has been appointed to the board of Scottish Agritourism.

Scottish Agritourism represents more than 300 member businesses and is strengthening its governance ahead of hosting the inaugural Global Agritourism Conference next year.

At Mill Architects, Richard has led diversification projects that connect people with food, farming, and place; notably Craigies Farm, Cairns Farm Estate and Active Kids.

He said, “It’s a real privilege to be joining the board of Scottish Agritourism at such an exciting time for the sector. Living on my family’s farm in Perthshire, I’ve experienced the positive impact agritourism can have on rural communities and the opportunities it creates for farm businesses to diversify and thrive.

“Through my work at Mill Architects, I’ve been fortunate to support some of Scotland’s most forward-thinking agritourism enterprises, helping them bring their ideas to life in a way that connects people with agriculture and brings commercial opportunities.

“I’m especially excited to contribute to the delivery of the Global Agritourism Conference in 2026; a fantastic opportunity to put Scotland’s rural innovation and ambition on the international stage.”

Riddell Graham, chair of Scottish Agritourism, added, “Richard’s practical experience and visionary approach make him a valuable addition to our board. His insights will be instrumental as we prepare to welcome an international audience in 2026 and as we continue to support the diversification ambitions of farms across Scotland.”

Richard joins a voluntary board of seven. Scottish Agritourism helps shape Scotland’s rural tourism and farming landscape, with goals that include sustainable growth, governance strength, and enhanced support for farm businesses
