CBRE has advised Suntory Global Spirits on the acquisition of two major new office spaces in Glasgow and London.
The real estate advisor supported the specialist in premium spirits across both locations – providing a full suite of services including leasing, turnkey project delivery, and project and cost management.
In Glasgow, CBRE acted on behalf of Suntory Global Spirits to secure a 15,000 sq ft office on West George Street. The successful completion of the sublease establishes a new corporate presence in the heart of Glasgow that will support approximately 50 employees.
Whilst in London, CBRE advised on the acquisition and development of a new 9,000 sq ft hospitality-led workspace located near Oxford Circus. Designed to reflect the brand’s identity and commitment to premium experiences, the new UK headquarters features contemporary open plan office facilities, a café-style entrance area, a bespoke hospitality bar and an executive office with a tasting room.
CBRE facilitated the transaction alongside its in-house technical team, ensuring a seamless acquisition process that supported Suntory Global Spirits’ continued growth in the UK.
Martin Speirs, associate director at CBRE Scotland, said, “We’re very proud to have assisted Suntory Global Spirits in the successful completion of a sublease for a prime office space in Glasgow, that not only supports their operational growth, but reflects the company’s values and people-first culture. These projects are a great example of how CBRE’s integrated services can help occupiers secure inspiring workplaces in strategic locations.”
Ryan Lewis, associate director at CBRE, added, “It was an exciting opportunity to partner with Suntory Global Spirits on the acquisition and development of their new London space. This move reflects the ongoing commitment from global companies for prime office space in London’s west end.”
