NORDAN has acquired a majority shareholding in Performance Doorset Solutions (PDS), a door manufacturer based in Littleborough, Greater Manchester.
The acquisition strengthens NorDan’s presence in the UK entrance door market.
Founded in 2003, PDS supplies fully certified fire door sets, including FD30, FD60 and Secure by Design entrance doors.
NorDan said the company’s reputation for quality and compliance aligns well with its portfolio, which includes the NTech range of windows and doors, as well as the StormGuard window designed for extreme conditions.
The current directors of PDS will retain a ‘significant’ shareholding and continue to be represented at board level.
