MORAY Council and its housing partners have pledged to invest almost £10 million into affordable housing over the next year.
A total of 228 new affordable homes are either under construction or scheduled to start before the end of March 2026 in the region – including key developments in Lossiemouth, Aberlour, and Elgin south.
The programme continues to be delivered through partnerships with housing associations including Grampian Housing Association, Osprey Housing, and Places for People, alongside Moray Council’s own new build and acquisition initiatives.
Chair of Moray Council’s housing and community safety committee, councillor Amber Dunbar, said, “We continue to make progress in delivering affordable housing in Moray, and continue to work with our partners to address demand. While challenges remain, work is underway to address these and this programme reflects our ongoing commitment to provide quality homes for our communities.”
