CCG (Scotland) is celebrating a raft of wins at the recent Scottish Home Awards 2025.
The business scooped the Excellence in Sustainability award for the second year running, in recognition of its work in low carbon construction and offsite manufacturing. CCG’s ‘iQ’ timber system is described as one of the most advanced of its kind in the UK, while the company’s Net Zero Home build standard is boosting sustainable housing delivery across Scotland. CCG currently has over 1,200 low carbon or net zero homes onsite.
The company was also recognised alongside client Govan Housing Group and consultancy partner Collective Architecture for Housing Regeneration Project of the Year, awarded to the Water Row development in Govan. The 92-unit, mid-market rental development integrates community-focused commercial space and was one of the Glasgow’s first residential developments to adopt an all-electric energy strategy.
Further recognition came with the Social Housing Development of the Year (Small <100 units) award, presented to Langlands Road – another project in Govan delivered entirely by CCG, from land acquisition to design and build, on behalf of Trust Housing Association in partnership with MAST Architects and G3 Consulting Engineers.
Completing the night’s success was Housing Development of the Year (Large Private Sale), which was granted to CCG’s client, igloo Regeneration, and Stallan Brand and Ann Nisbet Studio, for Maltings Wynd in Dundashill. The 78-home project forms part of the Dundashill regeneration masterplan – where CCG has delivered the first two phases of residential development – and exemplifies design-led urban housing, as well as the ongoing transformation of the north Glasgow area.
David Wylie, MD of CCG, said, “These awards are a huge honour for our business and our partners. Sustainability is ingrained in our DNA, while each project showcases a different aspect of our in-house capabilities — from land-led delivery and sustainable construction to large-scale regeneration and design excellence.
“Our strength lies in our integrated approach and our people. This recognition is a testament to their efforts and to what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to creating lasting value for communities across Scotland.”
