THE JR Group has announced it has started site investigations to support its vision of creating an ‘exceptional’ collection of homes in the Causewayhead area of Stirling.
Nestled in the countryside at the foot of Abbey Craig and in the shadow of the Wallace Monument, the proposed development site is located off Ladyneuk Road. The site has already been designated for residential use in the Stirling Local Development Plan.
The JR Group is in discussions with various partners to advance plans for 124 apartments, which will be offered to the private market for sale and rent. Surrounded by green space, the team envisions a ‘thoughtfully designed, tranquil community’ that harmonises with its natural surroundings.
Current proposals feature a curated selection of one and two-bedroom apartments, arranged around a central courtyard.
Andrew Dallas, projects director at The JR Group, said, “Causewayhead has it all – a beautifully situated location offering the perfect blend of city convenience and semi-rural charm. Its close proximity to the vibrant village of Bridge of Allan adds to its appeal.
“We’ve collaborated with Mosaic Architects and Clyde Design Partnerships to shape initial plans for a bespoke collection of high-end apartments that complement this remarkable setting overlooking the River Forth. We’re excited to move forward, with site investigations now underway, and a planning application expected to be submitted to Stirling Council this autumn.”
Site investigations will continue throughout the summer to help inform the next phase of the planning process.
