COMMERCIAL property specialist HFD has raised almost £130,000 for good causes in Glasgow and the surrounding area through its annual golf fundraising event.
Organised by the HFD Charitable Foundation, over 170 players from Scotland’s construction, property and engineering sectors participated in the event at Gleneagles. While teams competed across all three of its championship courses, this year also saw a record number taking part in non-golf activities – with almost 20 guests involved in Tri-Target shooting including archery, rifle, and clay pigeon shooting.
Now in its 15th year, the fundraiser supports HFD’s commitment to giving back to local communities. Recent beneficiaries include Alive & Kicking, Venture Scotland, Nil by Mouth, HopScotch Children’s Charity, Shakespeare Street Youth Club, Glasgow Riding for the Disabled Association, The Children’s Heart Federation, and Starter Packs Glasgow. The funding will support services such as volunteer training, wellbeing therapies, family support groups and improvements to community facilities.
Lauren McKenzie, HFD Charitable Foundation ambassador, said, “Our annual golf day continues to grow in impact, and it’s fantastic to see such strong support from our industry peers year after year. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and played a role in making it another brilliant day. Every pound raised allows us to give to charities making a real difference – and with another record-breaking total this year, we’re looking forward to supporting even more good causes in 2026.”
This year’s event was supported by sponsors including AM Tiling, Gardiner & Theobald, Landscape and Contracts, Net Zero Facades, Wallace Whittle, and Woolgar Hunter.
