MORRIS & Spottiswood Group has announced that it has generated £79 million of social value throughout 2024.
The figure has been generated through a range of initiatives – from facilitating accessible arts and culture programmes to enabling a brand-new mental health hub to open its doors for a socially isolated rural community.
Throughout the many initiatives the firm conducted in 2024, there was 14 new apprenticeships created, and a further 60 apprenticeships retained. Additionally, there were 251 new jobs created, and 113 jobs protected in 2024, underpinning one of its core pillars of promoting local skills and employment. In terms of communities, there was £69,800 in community donations and 983 volunteering hours in total.
