SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors, acting on behalf of the John Dewar Lamberkin Trust, has announced it is bringing to market a residential development opportunity at Lamberkin Village, part of the Perth West masterplan.
Located near Broxden Roundabout in Perth, the site offers planning permission in principle for up to 1,500 residential units, up to 26 hectares of commercial development, and infrastructure upgrades, with support from the Tay Cities Deal and delivery contributions from the local authority. The current phases available for sale – Phases 1, 2, and 3 – encompass up to 1,000 residential units.
The development is set to include key infrastructure projects comprising the Broxden Mobility Hub and Eco Innovation Park, featuring hotels, retail outlets, a bus depot, storage and distribution facilities, multi-storey parking, and a health centre. Plans also include a new underpass beneath the A9, creating direct access to the site and connecting the mobility hub at Broxden Business Park.
Future phases of the project envision further growth. A proposed new junction along the A9 towards the Tibbermore junction is expected to improve road safety and could unlock an additional 500 residential units, alongside a logistics hub adjacent to a fuel/hydrogen/EV charging station, and other commercial developments.
Steve Barnett, managing partner at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, said, “Lamberkin Village represents an exceptional opportunity for residential development within a mixed-use masterplan supported by significant commercial and infrastructure investment from the local authority. Key features such as excellent transport links, single ownership, and alignment with a broader masterplan aimed at enhancing Perth’s urban and economic landscape underscore its unique appeal.”
Alexander Dewar, of the John Dewar Lamberkin Trust, added, “We are thrilled to bring the first three phases of Lamberkin Village to market. This project has been years in the making, with initial public consultations dating back to 2015. We believe this development will significantly enhance Perth’s economic prospects, serving as a cornerstone for future growth, investment, and community development. Sustainability is at the heart of our vision for the site, with a focus on promoting active travel, low-carbon transport, and improved public transport links.”
