NETWORK Rail has announced that it will be recruiting 38 apprentices in Scotland for its 2025 apprenticeship programme.
Apprentices are required at locations across the country including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Irvine, Paisley, Motherwell, Montrose, Crianlarich, and Helmsdale.
The three-year course, which starts in August, is open to people from all walks of life – whether a new school leaver or someone looking to change careers – and leads to an SCQF Level 7 engineering qualification.
Ross Moran, Network Rail Scotland route director, said, “We’re looking for passionate individuals who are ready to play a vital role in keeping Scotland’s railway running safely and efficiently. Our engineering apprenticeship is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and develop skills that will shape the future of our railway.“Whether you are just starting out, or are looking for a change of career, we are looking for people from all backgrounds to bring their talents to our team.”
