CRUDEN has appointed land director Andrew Duncan to its senior team amidst a period of growth for the housebuilder.

Andrew brings almost two decades of experience to the role having held senior titles at Cala Homes and Kelvin Properties, and been instrumental in delivering a number of sites across Scotland. Examples include 101 luxury apartments on Mansionhouse Road in Shawlands and the regeneration of Pacific Quay, bringing over 200 mixed homes to the long-vacant former Glasgow Garden Festival site.

Cruden’s development pipeline ranges from smaller boutique developments to larger masterplans of over 200 homes.

Andrew Duncan said, “Cruden combines a unique and highly entrepreneurial business, with a strong heritage of 82 years in this very competitive industry. The introduction of NPF4 marks a significant policy shift in our industry, bringing both opportunities and challenges. I was inspired to join Cruden to strategically support its growth and help navigate this evolving landscape.

“Cruden presents the opportunity to be more nimble with deal structures and I have been thoroughly impressed by the team’s professionalism and collaborative approach. There is a strong alignment of vision within the business, with a shared commitment to driving progress, which is an environment I am excited to be part of.”

MD Fraser Lynes added, “Andrew has a strong track record of delivering key sites across Scotland and brings a proactive approach and determined work ethic, which is a great fit for our team. He will be instrumental to our business as we continue to build momentum of a higher volume of developments with a growing geographical spread.”
