CONSTRUCTION and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson, part of Egis group, has announced the appointment of Alison Kilgour as business development director.
Alison has previously held director-level roles at several construction and property businesses. Her career began as a quantity surveyor, before moving into a bid management position at Miller Construction two decades ago. More recently she has specialised further in business development and will support Thomas & Adamson to strengthen its presence in sectors such as life sciences, education, residential and workplace.
While based in Edinburgh, Alison will support the senior leadership team across the UK to enhance the core offering of building surveying, project management, cost management and construction safety services, as well as supporting the introduction of new services.
