CITY Building (Glasgow) LLP has announced it has delivered another ‘strong’ year of charitable fundraising, donations, and community engagement.

Over the past year, the organisation has donated nearly £60,000 to charities, marking a 55% rise on the previous year. It has also supported 52 communities – a 62% increase from the previous 12 months, while employee-led fundraising has surged by 85% to £24,000.

A further £17,500 has been contributed through supply chain partnerships, with the Joint Trade Union Committee (JTUC) contributing £6,650 to various community initiatives.

City Building has expanded its impact through community apprenticeship projects, supporting initiatives such as refurbishing facilities at FARE Scotland Stepford Football Academy and the Springburn Shed Centre. Through its partnerships, the firm has worked with suppliers to provide items including £10,000 worth of white goods to vulnerable citizens across Glasgow.

Employees have actively participated in fundraising challenges, including the Kiltwalk and the Race for Life. The company has also supported charities such as Alzheimer’s Scotland, Breast Cancer Now, and Cash for Kids.

Sharon Wearing, executive director, City Building (Glasgow) LLP, said, “Our commitment to community engagement and social impact continues to grow year on year. With the support of both our members – Glasgow City Council and Wheatley Housing Group – alongside the generosity of our employees and supply chain partners, we have been able to support even more people and projects across Glasgow. We are immensely proud of our achievements and remain dedicated to creating a lasting, positive impact.”
