
WINCHBURGH Developments Ltd has announced the appointment of Alan Coyle as its new finance director.
He will work with the team behind the masterplan for the growing West Lothian town, to further the vision of creating a community-led development.
Alan previously worked across local government and the energy and shipbuilding sectors with a focus on infrastructure developments, business transformation, and finance.
John Hamilton, CEO of Winchburgh Developments Ltd, said, “We are delighted to have appointed Alan Coyle as the new finance director for Winchburgh Developments to help us continue to implement our masterplan. Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, and we are all very much looking forward to working with him.”

Last year, WDL was crowned Property Company of the Year at the Scottish Property Awards in recognition of its investment in the area and the development milestones it has achieved with its ‘infrastructure-first’ approach to community planning. Since 2012, the company has planned and co-ordinated the construction of more than 1,000 houses in Winchburgh, with that number expected to quadruple by 2034/35.
WDL has recently marked a number ofled milestones including the completion of the new 20-berth Winchburgh Marina, the opening of a new M9 motorway junction in both directions, the completion of an education campus, and the opening of rail and canal over-bridges which connect the town to the trunk road network.
