Warmworks has confirmed plans to exhibit at Futurebuild 2025, the built environment’s event dedicated to driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.
Since launching in 2015, Warmworks has helped tackle fuel poverty across the UK by assisting almost 50,000 homes and families to be warmer and healthier by installing energy efficiency improvements.
Taking place from March 4-6 at London Excel, Futurebuild’s theme this year is Impact. The co-located National Retrofit Conference and Expo will address the need to decarbonise existing buildings.
The Warmworks team will be on hand to discuss the organisation’s holistic approach to retrofit, the ways in which it has delivered fuel poverty schemes at scale, and the lasting impact of its work. Members of the team will also be sharing their knowledge and insight during various sessions across the three-day event.
Warmworks’ communities manager, John Renwick, will be on the panel for the Skills and Workforce Development for the Retrofit Revolution session, taking place on Tuesday 4 March from 14:30–15:30. Nicola Mcleod, MD of Warmworks’ Scotland division, will be presenting as part of the People First Retrofit: Creating Healthy Homes for All session, which will be held on Wednesday 5 March from 13:15–14:15. And Simon Kemp, Warmworks’ growth and innovation director, will be speaking as part of the Resident Engagement: Effective Strategies and Approaches for Contractors discussion about resident engagement organised by Retrofit Information, Support and Expertise (RISE), on 6 March from 11:00–12:00.
Nicola Mcleod, MD of Warmworks’ Scotland division, said, “The Warmworks team is delighted to be a part of Futurebuild 2025. It’s particularly fitting that the theme of this year’s event is Impact, as we have recently launched our first UK-wide Impact Report, outlining the positive results of our work over the past year and our commitment to providing the highest possible level of service for fuel poor homes.
“Futurebuild is a great opportunity to showcase our values-led, professional approach to delivering largescale retrofit contracts across the UK. We’re excited to engage with everyone, from supply chain partners to local authorities, and share best practice about tackling fuel poverty and making a real, lasting impact on people’s lives by making them warmer, happier, and healthier at home.”
