TO celebrate the business’ 100th anniversary in 2025, Mac Mic Group has announced a new partnership with five charities dedicated to two causes that are deeply important to the company – homelessness and cancer care.

Mac Mic Group is committed to raising £100,000, with £20,000 to be donated to each of the following organisations:

  • Maggie’s cancer charity – Providing free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer, and their families and friends across the UK.
  • Rock Trust – Supporting homeless youths in Edinburgh and the surrounding east region.
  • Kindness Homeless Street Team – Supporting the homeless community and those in need in the Glasgow area.
  • Centrepoint – Helping homeless young people across 15 boroughs in London.
  • 1625 Independent People – Offering support to homeless youths in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

To support these causes, Mac Mic Group has planned a calendar of fundraising events throughout the year, including cycling and walking events, as well as a firewalk. The business also plans to host virtual quizzes and a bake sale, providing plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Director Ross Mickel said, “We are honoured to collaborate with these remarkable charities, whose tireless work makes a real difference in the lives of those in need. In our centenary year, our goal is to raise £100,000, with each of our five charity partners receiving £20,000.

“We invite our supporters, employees, and the wider community to join us in reaching this ambitious target. Your participation and generosity will provide essential resources for these incredible organisations and the people they serve.”

Adam Feder, head of corporate partnerships, Maggie’s, said, “Maggie’s is thrilled to have been chosen as one of Mac Mic Group’s charity partners for their centenary celebrations.
