GLASGOW City Council has appointed Clark Contracts to the panel of contractors on two lots of its £12 million statutory private property housing repairs framework which is intended to run until 2028.
Works awarded on this framework will consist of both internal and external refurbishments with Lot 1 covering minor works up to £499,999 and Lot 2 covering major works valued at £500,000 and over.
Clark Contracts, in the role of main contractor, is currently on site delivering £25 million of residential projects including a development in Upper Langlee for Waverley Housing Association and a flatted development in Glasgow for Govanhill Housing Association.
The firm also recently completed the construction of new council housing in Polmont for Falkirk Council, the refurbishment of mid-market rental flats in Edinburgh, the conversion of a former Travelodge in Aberdeen to create a 107-bed student accommodation development, and a 60-studio refurbishment at 53-68 South Bridge, Edinburgh.
