THE West Lothian Construction Forum will host its first meeting of 2025 tomorrow (January 22), with an anticipated rise in attendance from construction businesses continuing the trend towards the end of 2024.
The forum offers attendees the chance to network and benefit from a service provider presentation.
This meeting will feature Anne Farr of Rothera Group, a specialist in training and consultancy with a focus on bids and tenders. Anne has experience of helping West Lothian firms secure contracts in areas such as social housing, groundworks, and material supply. Her efforts are said to have been especially impactful in supporting smaller businesses to access public sector opportunities.
Forum chairman Jamie Taylor of Taylor Roofs said, “It will be good to get back in the room with everyone after a break for a few weeks. There has definitely been a willingness to help each other, share opinions, and explore new ideas, and that’s what the forum was designed for. I’m looking forward to hearing what Anne has to say, as there will be valuable guidance for anyone looking to justify their pricing or pitch successfully for larger contracts.”
The meeting takes place at Sibbald Training, Sibbald Park, Blackridge, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
