PACIFIC Building has announced it is gearing up for an event-studded 2025 to mark the firm’s 20th anniversary.
The celebrations will see the construction and fit-out showcase its expertise, big-name client roster, ethos and values, and vision for the future.
A suite of videos that encapsulate the Pacific story have been commissioned. They will be broadcast over the coming 12 months, complemented by media releases, social media posting, bespoke website content, one-off graphics and more. There will also be a reception in June to thank clients, colleagues and friends who have been part of the journey.
The premiere of The Pacific Story – an all-animated film – will take place in January.
The events will benefit the company’s partner charity for the year, Include Me 2 Club – an organisation committed to creating opportunities for individuals with additional support needs, disabilities and mental health issues.
A new logo dedicated to the anniversary has also been commissioned.
Company chairman Brian Gallacher, who founded Pacific with a small but dedicated and loyal team, said, “This is a very proud moment for me, seeing a business which started with a small team and limited client-base, developing into a trusted and respected construction company.”
Speaking at Pacific’s HQ in Hillington, near Glasgow, MD Gerard McMahon added, “We are looking forward to the landmark year ahead, as it will give us the chance to reflect on our achievements across the last 20 years. Usually, our professionalism stops us banging our own drum but that is going to change – just for 2025. And, as an employee-owned business, it is an occasion for all of our talented staff to revel in the Pacific success story.”
Pacific became an employee-owned business in 2019, which means every staff member is a beneficiary of an Employee Ownership Trust, which owns Pacific Building Ltd on behalf of all employees now and in the future.
The company operates within a variety of sectors including hospitality, commercial, healthcare, and retail.
As the new year unfolds, Pacific revealed it is looking forward to completing a number of high-commissions projects including the Seaton House Hotel in St Andrews and a new McDonald’s in Monifieth as well as starting work on a major project at Parliament Square in Edinburgh.
