SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has set a closing date of 6th February at noon for the disposal of St Columba’s Junior School and the surrounding ground in Kilmacolm.
Following the board of governor’s decision to merge the junior and senior schools together onto one site, Shepherd has been instructed to dispose of three adjoining buildings which include the original Shalott Building, a single-storey building, and the Graham Building as well as the 2.6-acre site.
Steven Barnett, managing partner at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, said, “We were delighted to receive instruction on behalf of the board of governors to dispose of the buildings and land that were deemed surplus to requirements as part of the merger. This instruction represents one of the most significant and high-profile land sales within the Kilmacolm area.”
