PROCAST Group has secured a £55 million contract renewal with North Lanarkshire Council to deliver roof and render improvements across the region over the next five years.
The Hamilton-based firm has been carrying out work for the local authority for over eight years and said the renewal of the partnership is due to the ‘high-quality results’ achieved in previous projects.
In Kilsyth alone, Procast has upgraded more than 500 properties over two standout projects. The first was at Adam Place, where new external wall insulation (EWI) was installed on 300 flats to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency. The second project was Findley Street and Park Lane, where the same EWI upgrades were carried out on 200 flats.
North Lanarkshire Council has an ongoing commitment to improve housing standards across the region. The continuation of the framework and appointment of Procast will see this work accelerated into 2025.
Derek Innes, owner and MD of Procast Group, said, “We are thrilled to renew our partnership with North Lanarkshire Council and embark on another five years of transformative projects within the region. The past five years have been hugely rewarding, and we are proud to have made a real difference in communities like Kilsyth.
“The new contract reflects the trust and confidence the council has in Procast Group, and we look forward to delivering even more impactful work for tenants as we move forward.”
