PROCAST Group has embarked on work to transform homes across East Renfrewshire as part of a £725,000 project.
The Hamilton-based firm is carrying out roof and render renewal works across 33 social properties. Working in Barrhead, Neilston, and Newton Mearns, Procast aims to have the 20-week project completed by March.
The new installations are designed to improve the visual facade of the properties. It is also hoped that the project will have a positive impact on living conditions for tenants as well as helping to reduce energy bills and protect their homes from the elements.
Derek Innes, owner and MD of Procast Group, said, “We are delighted to be working with East Renfrewshire Council on this project over the winter months. The improvements are essential for residents and will provide warmer and more appealing homes for tenants across the towns. We hope to have the works completed by March next year, with the finished outcome providing noticeable results for the tenants.”
