MAIN contractor Clark Contracts recently opened its Bught Park pavillion and shinty museum project in Inverness for a behind the scenes look at the major redevelopment works, which are in the final stages.
The Paisley-headquartered firm is completing the refurbishment of the B-listed grandstand at Bught Park, constructing a new purpose-built pavilion and shinty museum along with improved infrastructure for events.
Work is underway on the fit-out of the pavilion interior, and on target for an early spring completion date. The stadium will host the country’s only dedicated shinty museum on the ground floor, with events space upstairs.
Visitors included Camanachd Association CEO Ruari Davidson and councillor Ian Brown, leader of Inverness city and area and co-chair of the Inverness Castle Project Delivery Group.
The venue has a number of events lined up for 2025 including the McTavish Cup Final and the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final.
