ALLANWATER Homes has broken ground on a new development in the Caskieberran area of Glenrothes.
The greenfield site, located on Caskieberran Road, will deliver 19 new properties.
The Bridge of Allan-based housebuilder, which currently has developments in Alloa and Chryston, will construct a selection of two-bedroom apartments, together with new styles of three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes.
Allanwater said all properties at the development, which will be marketed as Allanwater Caskieberran, will offer buyers a ‘high level of energy efficient living’, with a B Rating for efficiency. The housebuilder is working with Kirkwood Timber Frame who will supply the timber frames for each of the properties, which are all brand new designs to the Allanwater portfolio.
Brian Robertson, Allanwater Homes director, confirmed that first completions are likely to be in summer 2025.
“Following planning approval from Fife Council in February 2024, we are pleased to have broken ground at Caskieberran,” he stated. “The launch of this new development is a solid end to 2024 for Allanwater Homes, which will see the delivery of 19 quality new homes in Fife, an area where we have a strong track record.
“With groundworks here expected to be complete towards the end of January, construction of our new homes will then begin.”
