TILBURY Douglas has concluded its Northern Supply Chain Roadshows, delivering events across four key locations.
Held in partnership with ConstructionLine, the roadshows visited Haydock, Middlesbrough, Pontefract, and Glasgow, bringing together more than 1,000 supply chain partners.
Attendees gained insights into Tilbury Douglas’ 2025 pipeline, explored opportunities to join its local supply chain, and benefited from procurement advice from Jamie Swanston, procurement and supply chain director at Tilbury Douglas, and Stacey Burton, procurement and supply chain manager at Tilbury Douglas.
The roadshows also celebrated contributions through supply chain awards, recognising the role partners play in Tilbury Douglas’ success.
The business partnered with charity DKMS at the events, encouraging attendees to register as blood stem cell donors. Albacare also supported the event by providing defibrillation and CPR training.
Phil Shaw, MD – Building North at Tilbury Douglas, said, “At Tilbury Douglas, we understand the vital role our supply chain partners play in helping us to deliver high-quality projects across the UK. The Northern Supply Chain Roadshows provided an excellent opportunity to engage with both new and established partners, share our vision for 2025, and ensure we’re working with the best local talent to drive success. Partnering with DKMS and Albacare also added a meaningful layer to our events, showcasing the positive impact we can make together.”
Jamie Swanston added, “It was great to meet so many of our partners to be able to show them our group supply chain strategy, which at its core recognises our strong regional suppliers. We were able to share our key priorities for the years ahead and ensure we are all on the same page when it comes to addressing key issues, such as modern day slavery and carbon reduction.”
