New chairperson appointed at hub West Scotland

ANNEMARIE O’Donnell has been appointed the new independent chair of hub West Scotland (hWS) Limited.

She will take up her new role at the start of 2025, succeeding Jo Armstrong who is stepping down at the end of her second term.

Annemarie O’Donnell has over 30 years’ experience at Glasgow City Council, where she served as chief executive and helped to deliver a range of regeneration projects from major infrastructure improvements to new schools and housing.

Hub West’s chief executive, Iain Marley said, “Jo has been an inspiration and instrumental in guiding us through significant growth and change, and we are immensely grateful for the wisdom and insights she brought to the role. We look forward to building on the strong foundation she laid.

“We warmly welcome Annemarie to the team and are confident that her vision and leadership will further strengthen the hub West Partnership and our commitment to add value for our clients.”
