FIBRE cement and gypsum building solutions manufacturer James Hardie has recruited two new sales managers in Scotland.
Gary Maclean, channel sales manager for Scotland, will be responsible for building relationships with channel partners to drive Hardie Plank family sales. He will work closely with Cameron Scott, specification manager for the area, to engage with and support local contractors and independent housebuilders with stock fulfilment and technical installation knowledge.
“I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the builders’ merchants that I’ve worked with before, and establishing relationships with new customers,” Gary said. “It’ll be great to work on site again and help contractors and housebuilders with the Hardie Plank products, from the initial sales right through to installation.”
Callum Fox, meanwhile, joins the business as Hardie Panel specification manager for Scotland. He will be focused on driving specification with architects and generating contractor engagement.
“I truly believe that people make a business and the team at James Hardie are the best I’ve worked with,” Callum said. “For me the most exciting part of this job is the product! I’m looking forward to working with the fabricators to educate them on the benefits and features of Hardie Panel, and adding value to their business and ours.”
