INVERNESS-based investment group GEG Capital has strengthened its electrical and construction portfolio with the acquisitions of two Highland contractors.
Calder Electrical and multi-trades construction company Scotbuild have been acquired and will continue to operate under their established brands, with support and resources from GEG Capital to drive growth and innovation. GEG Capital confirmed that all staff within both firms will remain with the business.
Daniel Cormack has been appointed MD of both Calder Electrical and Scotbuild. Cormack has held various roles within the group over the last 15 years and has graduated through the GEG Capital Emerging Leaders Programme.
