FLEMING has expressed its delight after being named as an approved contractor on Scotland Excel’s 2nd generation New Build Residential Construction Framework.

The framework is designed to assist housing associations in delivering residential projects, including houses, flats, care homes and student accommodation.

Fleming has been appointed to three of the five lots for new build developments of up to 35 units.

Director Ronnie Burrows said, “We’re very excited to be an approved contractor in this flagship new build construction framework which will allow us to deliver energy efficient residential projects for new and existing clients.

“Having delivered exceptional work in similar sectors over the years, we’re grateful for the trust Scotland Excel is giving us in helping build these much-needed affordable homes. With Fleming and Scotland Excel’s shared commitment to meeting net zero targets combined with our increasing Passivhaus and low energy expertise, it’s a privilege to provide lasting benefit to communities.”

The appointment adds to a range of existing frameworks Fleming is on including Hub West Scotland and NHS Minor Works (£1.5m – £4m).
