THE JR Group has completed the build of 55 affordable apartments in the Finnieston area of Glasgow on behalf of Glasgow West Housing Association (GWHA).
The Dover Street development also includes a commercial unit on the ground floor.
Residents have now picked up the keys to their new homes, with The JR Group also supplying a welcome pack for each apartment – which included items including a kettle, kitchen utensils, bedding, and toiletries.
While undertaking the project, which started in 2021, the construction team also supported local primary schools. Easter eggs and Christmas selection boxes were donated to Anderston Primary, as well as two benches for its playground. Building items were donated to Glasgow Gaelic School in Finnieston, which were used for a project focused on construction.

We worked closely with Glasgow West Housing Association, Coltart Earley Architects, and AECOM Engineers to bring the apartments to life. As well as creating the high-quality homes here, we also supported the wider community through donations to local schools during our time on site.”
