TAYLOR Wimpey West Scotland has extended its support of St Vincents Hospice in Johnstone with a donation of £11,000.

St. Vincents Hospice aims to provide access to the best possible care and support to everyone living with a life-limiting illness in Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire.

Emma Donald, community, corporate, and event manager at St Vincents Hospice, said, “We are so grateful to the Taylor Wimpey West Scotland team for their continued support of the hospice. Over the years, they have donated more than £40,000, and this latest donation of £11,000 provides us with a substantial boost to our funds.

“This money will go towards the vital funds needed to allow us to provide meaningful, specialist care to our patients and families when they need it the most.”

Throughout the year, Taylor Wimpey West Scotland staff hold various fundraising events to allow them to donate to a wide range of charities that are important to them personally.

David Blair, MD at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added, “We have been supporting St Vincents Hospice for many years now, and we continue to be very proud of how our staff come together to show their support for this incredible charity. Our latest donation of £11,000 is one of our most significant.

“In marking the donation, I was also delighted to have the opportunity to visit the hospice to meet some of the team and to learn more about their vital service to patients and their families. Working with local groups and charities is so important to us, and our ongoing support for St Vincents Hospice is important to our staff, who work right across the west of Scotland.”
