AN award-winning Scottish loudspeaker manufacturer has opened a new factory in Bellshill.
Fyne Audio, which was founded in 2017, offers hand-crafted loudspeakers that music enthusiasts worldwide have embraced – with 45 distributors worldwide and ‘several’ technical patents in audio engineering.
The newly opened site spans nearly 50,000 square feet with over 20,000 square feet of working space including dedicated warehousing, manufacturing, and engineering facilities – bringing much of Fyne’s loudspeaker production processes under one roof.
The new factory includes a bespoke demonstration facility where dealers and visitors can experience Fyne Audio’s premium loudspeakers in action. The facility also houses Fyne’s engineering labs, an in-house deep cryogenic treatment chamber, and expanded workstations – allowing the company to streamline production and improve operational efficiency.
Further to this, the new facility has been designed with a future expansion in mind – including room for additional manufacturing capacity and office space. The firm also has plans to install 400 solar panels on the factory roof. Once completed, the site will position Fyne Audio as a leader in environmentally friendly manufacturing in the hi-fi industry, it added.
