PACIFIC Building has appointed Paul Devine as the company’s new operations director.
He joins the Hillington-based construction and fit-out firm on the back of an increase in turnover over the past 12 months and will be tasked with helping to maintain that upward trend.
Paul’s appointment forms part of Pacific’s growth strategy, which will see the company develop its offering from solely refurbishment and fit-out programmes to projects incorporating broader technical elements, including new-build extensions and structural interventions.
Paul has more than 25 years’ experience across the new-build and fit-out sectors and has worked with a range of contractors and specialists in both management and technical roles.
He said, “I am delighted to have joined one of the most dynamic teams in construction and fit-out, who are known for their strong relationships with big-name brands and who have a variety of projects of different scale on their books in numerous sectors across Scotland and the rest of the UK.”
MD Gerard McMahon added, “This is a very positive appointment for Pacific, and we look forward to Paul’s contribution to the business’s future success.”
Pacific became an employee-owned business in January 2019, which means every staff member is a beneficiary of an Employee Ownership Trust. The company operate within a variety of sectors including commercial, leisure, healthcare and retail.
