ADVERTORIAL

Galliford Try Environment’s Water Technologies business has held an official opening for its new Operations Centre in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

The facility was officially opened by Mark Shadrick, Managing Director of Galliford Try Environment, and includes 640 sqm of manufacturing space that will house Galliford Try Fabrications, as well as new workshops for Lintott Control Systems and Ham Baker Engineering. All three businesses come under the Water Technologies umbrella.

The current focus for Fabrications is on the advanced manufacture of metalwork for projects in Scotland, working with Galliford Try’s ESD joint venture for Scottish Water, as well as supplying the Morrison Construction business, and also being a source of support to the business’s Huthwaite fabrications factory in England.

The business is continuing to build its Fabrications team in Paisley, as well as building the in-house design capabilities to ensure the promotion of early design involvement in projects. A number of key local suppliers have also now been onboarded.

The official unveiling of the plaque was followed by an introduction from Craig Smith, Operations Director for Galliford Try Fabrications, followed by a tour of the facility and refreshments. Major client Scottish Water had several of their senior personnel in attendance, as well as representatives from Galliford Try’s supply chain and the wider Environment business.
