MOVEABLE wall specialist Style Scotland has revealed it is seeing a ‘surge’ in demand, with sales up by 32% in the last quarter.

“This remarkable growth underscores the increasing need for flexible, adaptable spaces in both corporate and recreational settings across Scotland,” said sales director Angela McGowan. “Our range of high-quality partitioning systems allows us to meet the unique needs of our clients with functional yet creative installation solutions.”

Michael Porter, MD of Style, added that the firm has seen ‘considerable growth’ in demand across the whole of the UK, but sales growth in Scotland has been particularly notable. “It’s a testament to the dynamic marketplace and an increasing recognition of the value of our moveable walls,” he stated.

Recent installations include at Shepherd and Wedderburn in Edinburgh, where Style Scotland collaborated with Michael Laird Architects and GHI Contracts to install advanced Dorma Huppe Variflex moveable walls. These semi-automatic systems, including a glass wall with a 52dB acoustic rating and a solid wall with a 59dB rating, transform an open office area into versatile meeting spaces.

In Falkirk, Style Scotland employed the Stylefold 120 folding wall at Xtreme Karting, an entertainment venue with varied space requirements. This system, with a 42dB acoustic rating, divides the venue’s space into separate areas for corporate events and private parties. Style said the ‘versatility and ease of use’ of this system have contributed to the surge in demand, particularly from the entertainment sector.
