FORMWORK and scaffolding solutions specialist PERI UK recently marked its 35th anniversary.

Employees across all six offices enjoyed a celebratory lunch, which included a hog roast at the firm’s head office in Rugby.

PERI opened its first UK office in 1989. As the eighth subsidiary to be established under the PERI Group, it secured its first project the following year. PERI supported the construction of the Queen Elizabeth II bridge by designing and supplying VARIO shutters for the wall formwork. This was combined with a CB 240 climbing system to enable pours at a height of five metres.

Over the past 35 years, PERI has achieved many milestones, including the £15 million redevelopment of its flagship office in Brentwood and the recent acquisition of Mabey Hire to strengthen its offering to customers.

Ian Hayes, MD of PERI UK, said, “PERI’s success over the past 35 years has been made possible by the unwavering support and dedication of our employees, along with the loyalty of our customers and supply chain partners. As we reflect on the company’s accomplishments spanning over three decades, I am filled with pride and optimism for the future, as I see so much potential in the years ahead.

“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to PERI’s journey thus far.”
