TEMPORARY works specialist Altrad RMD Kwikform has launched three new products to provide a wider and more flexible choice of solutions.
The XL Airodek Panel is a new addition to the Airodek formwork range, increasing the flexibility of the system. It measures 1.8m x 1.8m, allowing it to be used for floor-soffit heights of up to 3.5m. This new panel allows for the quick assembly of larger areas, providing a 50% reduction in components and more clear space beneath the soffit.
Altrad RMDK is also introducing Multiframe, a single-sided formwork support frame system that can be combined with traditional or panel system formwork. The ‘compact design and easily attachable’ formwork panels negate the need for unnecessary adjustments. Multiframe also features safer lifting points, castor wheel units, tied outriggers and slab anchorage. It allows pours of up to 10.2m high when constructing walls.
The third new product is an expansion of the Ultraguard range with the 1950 x 1800mm Ultraguard Barrier & 1.9m Post. Ultraguard is a lightweight, galvanised edge protection system, and this new product offers a higher barrier solution.
Altrad RMDK explained the larger size meets increasing demand for improved health and safety measures, providing ‘quick, easy, and safe’ edge protection at the slab edge. This is enforced by the ‘Z’ profiled interlocking barrier system, making it ‘perfect’ for applications including formwork, falsework, ground shoring and climbing systems.
