AKP has been selected as a preferred bidder across Lots 1 & 2 of the University of Glasgow framework.
This will see the East Kilbride-based contractor deliver construction, refurbishment, and fit-out works valued up to £7 million over the coming years.
Chairman Ian McEwan said, “We are delighted to have been appointed to both Lots on the University of Glasgow’s framework and it is a testament to the hard work our team has put into the submission. The University of Glasgow framework allies very well with the akp ethos of collaborative working and developing strong long-lasting client relationships, which was the driving force in deciding to pursue the opportunity.
“We are excited by the appointment and look forward to developing the relationship over the course of the framework.”
akp director Roz Malcolm added, “It is great to see the university recognising the credentials of robust SMEs, realising their potential to add value to the directory of framework contractors. We know akp can provide the university with a fresh set of eyes when it comes to both project delivery and social impact across the campus – we are ready and eager to get cracking!”
