ALLANWATER Homes, which recently launched its ninth phase of homes at Oaktree Gardens in Alloa, has announced it is once again supporting the community by sponsoring two local sporting organisations.
Along with Tulliallan Golf Club, the housebuilder is lending its support to women’s rugby team, the Hillfoots Vixens, which is part of Tillicoultry-based Hillfoots RFC.
Allanwater Homes has previously sponsored other local sporting organisations across the area, including Alloa Saints FC, providing them with strips and branded backpacks.
Founded in September 2023, the Hillfoots Vixens are Hillfoots RFC’s first women’s team. With six women turning up to attend their vry first training session, the club now has over 35 women registered for to play, and recently started a Junior Vixens section for girls aged 12 and over.
The Allanwater Homes sponsorship money was put towards ordering the Vixens’ first playing kit.
So far all games the Vixens have played have been friendlies with local teams. Christina Swinton, who officially launched the club with head coach Jordan Usher, explained the plan is to enter the SRU Caledonian Midlands League 2 after the summer.
She said, “As a team it was really important to us to have local businesses on our strip, and it’s great to have a mix of organisations, including Allanwater Homes, represented when we play. We really appreciate the support. The women’s team as a whole has brought a new lease of life to our club, with a huge new group of members getting involved in volunteering and social events.”
At Tulliallan Golf Club, Allanwater Homes is sponsoring hole five, as illustrated on the club website in a special 3D flyover section. In return, the club is running a 30” TV ad for the housebuilder on its two screens within the clubhouse.

Allanwater Homes’ latest phase at Oaktree Gardens offers a selection of three and four-bedroom properties. Constructed with the ‘very latest materials and techniques’, and with PV Solar Panels as standard, the homes are said to offer buyers ‘significant’ savings on running costs.
