GRAHAM + Sibbald has announced the promotion of Rachel Murray to director of architectural services.
Rachel first joined the firm’s architectural team in 2022, with the architectural department now having 12 architects and technicians across the Glasgow and Manchester offices.
Qualified in both commercial interior design and building conservation, the firm said Rachel brings ‘extensive’ experience in architecture and investment property development.
Furthermore, the firm added that her experience combined with a passion for design-led solutions compliment and augment the current architectural team leadership. Based within the Glasgow office, Rachel covers a variety of projects throughout the UK and across the Graham + Sibbald office network, working closely with clients and colleagues wherever necessary to meet their specific needs.
Tom Hamilton, director architectural services, commented, “Rachel is an integral part of the team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project we deliver for our clients. An exceptional designer who brings a distinctive design approach for every project. Rachel is also fully engaged in the continued development of the younger staff and the overall growth of our team.”
Neil MacFarlane, UK head of technical services, added, “The architecture design team is part of our wider technical services offering. The team actively collaborate with our offices and departments across the UK to ensure that our clients are receiving the best service tailored to their individual needs. Rachel’s promotion is well deserved and I look forward to watching this team continue to grow across the UK with Tom, Carole, and now Rachel leading them forward.”
