CLARK Contracts has opened applications for trainee and apprentice positions following its 8th annual careers event.
Held in the east and west of Scotland throughout March, the careers events attracted over 160 attendees who had the opportunity to meet the company’s recruitment team and current employees to find out more about careers at Clark Contracts and within the industry.
The contractor’s recruitment and HR manager delivered presentations on the company’s academy and apprenticeship opportunities, demonstrating numerous examples of staff members who started as apprentices and have progressed into management roles within the company.
Gordon Cunningham, MD of Clark Contracts, said, “It was great to have another year of successful careers events, and it was heartening to see so many people turn out and show an interest in starting their careers in the industry. We are committed to ensuring new talent is recruited into the industry as a whole and are looking forward to welcoming this year’s intake and seeing them progress through our academy over the coming years.”
