Inverness event to showcase opportunities to work on Clash Gour wind farm project

EDF Renewables UK will host a supply chain event in Inverness later this month to showcase its new Clash Gour wind farm and provide local businesses with the chance to discuss opportunities to work on the project.

The event is said to mark a significant milestone in the development of the wind farm project, located near Forres, which will comprise of 48 turbines with an operating capacity of up to 225MW.

The Meet the Buyer event will take place at the Kingsmills Hotel on Wednesday, March 27 from 10am to 1pm. The event is open to a range of businesses who may be needed as part of the construction and operation of the wind farm including civil engineering; transportation; and site investigations.

A range of speakers from EDF Renewables UK will be in attendance to answer questions and discuss the vision for the project, while the Clash Gour project, construction and procurement team will be on hand to give an update on the wind farm and the next steps of its development.

This Meet the Buyer event is a chance to forge meaningful relationships that will not only benefit our wind farm project but also the broader community and environment.

“We pride ourselves on working closely with communities across our portfolio, and Clash Gour wind farm is no different. We want to get to know the community and supply chain in the vicinity better and see the local economy benefit as far as possible from the wind farm.”
