CLARK Contracts has released details of its upcoming Edinburgh careers event on Wednesday March 27.
Following the success of the company’s recent careers evening at its Paisley head office, the contractor is turning its attention to Scotland’s capital.
The event is being held from 4.30pm within Edinburgh Napier University’s Sighthill campus. Those interested in attending can register here to receive a time slot.
Clark has an office in Newbridge. The firm has previously been crowned ‘Best Place to Work’ at the Construction News Talent Awards and also won the ‘Training Excellence’ accolade at the Construction News Awards.
Attendees to the Edinburgh careers event will have the chance to meet with the company’s recruitment and HR team along with a range of the contractor’s employees to find out more about available careers and how they can progress through the company’s award-winning academy. Information will also be shared on the recruitment process for the 2024 trainee and apprenticeship intake.
There will be opportunities for apprentices and trainees for various positions and trades including quantity surveying, site management, estimating, joinery, and painting and decorating.
Clark Contracts currently has over 36 trainees and apprentices within its academy. The contractor annually invests £750,000 into training and is dedicated to the continued development of employees, with many having progressed from trainee and apprentice positions to senior management roles.
MD Gordon Cunningham said, “Following the success of our 8th annual event earlier in the month where over 140 people joined us at out head office, we are looking forward to holding this event in Edinburgh and welcoming the next generation of trainees and apprentices in to the industry.”
