AVANT Homes Scotland has submitted plans for a £51 million development comprising 230 new properties in the village of Netherburn, South Lanarkshire.
Called Southburn View and accessed via Annabel Road and Station Road, the proposed 17-acre site will consist of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes. It will feature 13 of Avant Homes’ house types including terraced, semi-detached and detached homes as well as townhouses.
Subject to planning, work is set to commence in October with the first residents expected to move into their new homes in summer 2025.
Jim Wilkinson, Avant Homes Scotland MD, said, “We are committed to providing quality new homes for everyone in popular locations where people want to live which is why we think Netherburn is an excellent place for us to build. The village is conveniently located for families seeking the ideal balance between country living and city accessibility with it being situated just a short drive away from Larkhall and Carluke.
“Southburn View features a mix of practically designed, energy efficient house types at a range of price points that will appeal to first time buyers, second steppers, families and downsizers. We now look forward to South Lanarkshire Council considering our plans.”
