Robertson Timber Engineering to enhance mass timber solutions

ROBERTSON Timber Engineering (RTE) is enhancing its mass timber solutions offer in line with customer requirements and combined net zero goals.

The firm revealed it has been designing, manufacturing, and erecting precision-engineered quality frame structures for over 35 years. Having delivered an array of projects, the business is looking to strengthen its supply chain with experienced mass timber erectors, designers, and contract managers.

RTE explained that the construction industry has an important role to play in built environment innovation and eco-friendly options to meet net zero goals, with timber being adopted ‘more than ever’ to support the decarbonisation of buildings.

Adding that embodied and operational carbon is reduced from the very start of a project due to the sustainable properties of timber, RTE explained that it offers expert offsite manufacturing. Research work on a house that RTE supported the construction of was highlighted in a recent government paper, ‘Timber in Construction Roadmap’, which highlighted that ‘95% of structural timber could be recovered damage free and reused in the same building type.

“Our skilled team design, manufacture, deliver, and erect precision-engineered products, and this is the ideal opportunity for experienced erectors, designers, and contract managers with a passion for quality to work with team Robertson.”
