LYNDON SGB by BrandSafway recently revealed details of the work its scaffolding teams in Edinburgh have been carrying out with National Records of Scotland to provide safe access and weather protection on the iconic city landmark of New Register House.
Designed in-house and erected in all weathers, the external facade phase structure is now completed, with a massive twelve lifts of scaffolding erected in preparation for the installation of a temporary roof.
Speaking about the project on LinkedIn, Lyndon SGB regional manager Stuart Dougall said, “We are pleased to share the excellent progress made thus far on our New Register House project. This project consists of providing an independent scaffold to the full external perimeter of the building and a temporary roof to provide access, egress and weather protection during roof repairs.
“The complexity of the design meant that Lyndon SGB were uniquely qualified to carry out these works.
“New Register House is a prestigious building in Edinburgh city centre which is over 160-years-old and Lyndon SGB are proud to be working alongside National Records of Scotland on this flagship project.
“We would like to commend our site team who have done an excellent job thus far.”
